Foolishly I left half a tank of fuel in my bike thinking that I could go for one last spin after an elbow operation

Bike needs to be prepped for air freight is there another way of draining it down? .....Siphoning perhaps but I'm not sure with the design of the frame

Fuel drain plug is located on the LH side of the frame behind the pulley cover.
