Thomas - thanks for posting this notice, you bet me to it :D...

The 2011 Biketober/Pegasus Buell Experience @ Oschersleben is one of our 'must do' Buell events for this year.

We've already booked 4 nights accommodation (21st to 25th September) at the Hotel Körling, Lindenstr. 37, Suelzetal, and look forwards to reading further details about the event.

The hotel is located just over 9 miles from Motorsport Arena Oschersleben. The price for 4 nights is a very reasonable £149 for a double room inc. breakfast.
(Edit 04-08-11 - now booked 4 nights instead of 3)

Hotel details here

FYI Oschersleben is approx. 340 miles from Rotterdam.

After cheering on Ronnie Kreeft, and the Pegasus Race Team with the EBR 1190RR at Assen for the past two years, we're determined to make it to Oschersleben this year and support your Buell Experience event.

It would be good to see and hear the Typhon 1190 on the track at Oschersleben - it was just a static display at Assen in May:

..great to have some guys from UK with us! The last wekend was testival Italia at Oschersleben - with 2 races in BEARS and 2 in superbike Open for the 1190. Ronnie showed up thursday and friday to support our supension setting development, Harald had to beat Nina Prinz (IDM, Ducati Berlin) and Frankie Chili (Dutch Ducati) in the BEARS - and he did it!
Frankie Chili did not know anything about Buell before - but he stayed half the weekend with us in our box, also Nina showed up - not only for a piece of Pizza, also to talk and discuss...
At Biketoberfest we will have a riding school -> handling parcours - for all interested riders - and a BMW F650 which we got from a pretty female Buell-rider from Berlin - so nobody has to risk his own bike on the handling parcours.
Also there is a 2-day training-program on the racetrack with experienced race-riders as instructors - and the Buell-only race with seperate classification for air- and water-cooled bikes.
You'll see the Typhon, Buells in the BEARS- and Superbike Open races and maybe in Pro-BEARS or SuperTwins.
We'll have catering for self-costs available - breakfast, lunch and barbecue in the evening, parts and merchandise for sale, Party for free....
Registration will be online soon on http://pegasusraceteam.com
In the German forum there are already 32 people interested in one of the max. 50 places on the track, Switzerland has 9 people pre-registered - so take care not to miss this opportunity!!!

Just got an SMS that both, Jane and Chris, safely arrived at Oschersleben circuit. Weather is fine and forecast is quite promising.
