I stand corrected, 'twas Bob Trigg and co wot done it.

Interestingly, when the Atlas engine, originly mounted in the Featherbed frame was put into the Isolastic frame of the Commando, they had to change the balance factor to stop it ripping itself apart ;)

Old Thread Resurrection:

Rather than use the "new" Buell L0501.2 soft-ish isolator kit, what about using the HD 16207-79D kit, and drill out the bolt hole from 7/16" to 1/2" and use the old bolt?

Useful images HERE.

L0501.2 is the old/original Buell isolator and is NLA.

New kit is L1501.8........and yes, I do open it up to 1/2'' ;)

Thanks, Maz - do you open it up to use the new bolt with a spacer, or do you re-use the old bolt?
Am I mistaken to think that the "new" isolator piece is just a -79D?

Old bolt and yes the new isolator is a 79D........that's why I described the 'new improved' kit as a parts bin special on P1 of this thread
