Detent plate and/or selector drum come loose or gone out of alignment?
(I had gear shifting problems on the M2 fixed under warranty back when it was new, and that's what the dealership said the problem was)

Hi just to rule out the clutch cable ,i would remove the cable and check to see if its moving smoothly in the outer cable, also check gear linkage and lube up if needed...hope its nothing more than a few drops of oil... :yup:
