I thoughtmicron made two front stands, one fir under the forks with an adjustable side and one that lifted under the headstock, both should be OK for the Bomber

Micron also get some bobbins on ya bike and hooks on the stand

I need to take the wheel off though... do bobbins get in the way?

For bobbins on an XB you will have to drill your swinging arm, don't forget that it acts as an oil tank...

If you look closely on my swingarm I have used some angle aluminium fixed to the underside and has worked for the last 7 years with no problems.

I bought the Micron one with the adjustable height on one side - was in Hien Gericke asking about it, saying that I wanted on with adjustable heights and the staff looked at me as though I had two heads - "why would you want to adjust the height?" they said... I just looked at them and said 'pinch bolts'...

2 minutes later, they said, " oh yeeaaah..."

Honestly, the girl behind the counter said "so that's why my bike's been leaning slightly when I put it on the stand..."

Really??? I mean.... Really?

Anyhow, I'll sort myself out with a micron rear stand then.

Thanks all... Again

I really need to actually meet some of you folks face to face and buy a round....

Haha... I was thinking more the alcoholic variety. ;)

Though for any product development staff from Oxford....

Ps, Nutah, I'm sure you and I met once down at DG20... Went down to meet Yoffi as he offered to give me a set of hand guards off his SX, bless him...

Yep, the headstock has a yoke that converts the rear stand into a front. I use one and it works very well. IIRC I had to turn down one of the spare pins supplied, to fit the XB headstock.
