Maybe you could ask him first. Or would the polite thing be to much to ask in this day and age.

We don't know whether Erik Buell looks at this web site or not but we do know that the company, HD/Buell, monitor all independent Buell web sites.

I expect all motor vehicle manufacturers do the same. Why, with the instant feedback that the internerd now offers, customers of all brands still have to put up with recurring faults and quality issues is beyond me. Only the manufacturers themselves can answer that question.

Yes, we sent him the T-shirt and told him about the UKBEG Buell Challenge and Em's Charity, but his personal donation was totally unexpected. Erik's cheque will be added to the amount raised by our main event, Em's Day on Saturday 18th July.

You could, on the other hand, thank him for the offer and maybe even thank him for the bike you so love.

No, it's made out to me and, as already mentioned, will be added to the money raised for Em's Charity.

Can the bank give it back once it has been cashed?

I don't understand your question - why would they want to do that?

I'm going to photocopy the cheque before it's presented to the bank.
