Seem to remember reading there is a stockist in Bristol (or thereabouts) who supplies drive belts at around £180 - or did I dream it?

Looking to buy a spare for my 2009 Uly. Plan to hang on to it for a couple years? - will be doing some long trips come the better weather.

Gonna 'practice' fitting a replacement belt a la roadside repair (in the garege at home!).

And make sure I have all the right tools and test out the method I have in mind for lifting the back wheel.

I'm not getting caught out again!!

Other than that - bike is going like a dream - currently using it for commuting to work (40 mile round trip). Final main dealer service due soon before the warranty runs out . Think it needs a new front disc (pulsing), flasher unit needs replacing (currently using a cheapo unit bought en route to the Continent in September). Would like to get the wheel bearings changed (have done 18k), they seem okay - but must be coming up to being in need of replacement?

Any ideas on where to get a bargain top quality drive belt?

Try Jersey HD - this is the price for a 1125 belt (can't remember if it's R or CR)

http://www.jerseyh-d.com/products/29100 ... tooth.aspx

Stick your part number in and see what the price is ...

And give Black Bear a call to give them the opportunity to beat the price...

These have got a good reputation:
http://www.beltdrives.com/reardrbelt2.html

Too early as yet to say if they are better than O/E or not, as I've only had mine for about 3 months.
The original lasted over 10 years, so that's a tough benchmark.

£180 for a 126T from here:
http://www.motorcyclesbath.co.uk/

Don't know what the cost would be for a Uly belt, though.
135T, are they not?
