Can anyone help?

Each time I go out for more than half an hour the neutral light disappears and the engine will only restart with clutch lever pulled in, left for a while and all returns to normal.
Any ideas?

Cheers,
Wildhenry.

Behind the front pulley ...... so a bit of a pain to change as the pulley needs to come off.

Hey would you believe it!
Without touching anything the neutral light is now OK.
It still works after a 4 hour ride were before it disappeared after around 10 mins!
Maybe because it was left standing for a long time before I bought it the switch got stuck?
