Depends on your weight and riding style......there is no fixed formula, getting suspension set up right is more down to experience ie. good communication/feed back from the customer etc......I pride myself on being a pretty good judge of what a customer needs by weighing them and looking at how their tyres have been used :)

Exactomundo ...

Maz never weighed me... He just sorta looked at me and then said he'd order some thicker fork oil... :sad1:

Get some brand new 2001 X1 forks from St Pauls while they still have them and while they are cheap and while they can still sell to you.
That said, at the moment mine has M2 stock forks on it (again brand new) and I quite like them but I also have a set of new X1 forks in the wings waiting for me to make a decision.

:oooops: :oooops: :oooops:

Amongst various mutterings and grumblings about carbuncles and shite CF, the most memorable cabbage-directed comment from the mouth of the meister was "God I'm good" from somewhere under my left thigh as :maz: was setting up my suspenders.

I wrote at the time something along the lines of "It feels like I could run over a coin and tell you whether it was heads or tails..."

Although that doesn't make him right when talking about the correct gearing. :run:
