Just thinking out loud Ron T :?: would comming Hook-Harwich be a better ferry crossing than the Tunnel, if your all going up to Black Bear at Newmarket.....

If you crossed to Harwich, Ron, I could meet you all off the ferry and lead you across to Newmarket via twisty roads through picturesque countryside. :)

Keep an eye on the long-term weather forecasts - as Mo reminded me earlier today, it's not unknown for us to get snow at Easter.

Can't imagine snow will slow you lot down, :coat:

It's going to be extra tough for the Harley riders (if they are attending) :rotfl:

In recent years, for the Easter UKBEG/Black Bear BBQ, we've stayed at a motel 12 miles south of Newmarket on Good Friday night and because they have some good deals on at the moment - a 'cheap as chips' total of £53.50 for a family room, for the two nights, we've also booked the Saturday night, April 6th & 7th. It saves messing around with camping gear etc. - not that we're pampered, soft northerners or anything like that :D....

It's the Travelodge @ Fourwentways, 12 miles south of Newmarket on the A11/A1307 junction. Visit http://www.travelodge.co.uk for details - the motel is called 'Cambridge Fourwentways' on their web site.

Don't really dig the Ace, but up for a ride through town though, hopefully I'll have money for gas, or I'll have to fill up and drive off :rotfl:
Camden Town and Covent Garden can be fun for visitors also

I've just been having a look at the Ace Cafe website, and on the Easter weekend they have one of their 5 major events happening on Easter Monday (9th April 2012). I have attached the link below...thought it might be of interest to some. :sun:

Now then.....also booked in at the Travellodge at Cambridge @ Fourwentways..Saturday Night.......not that I'm a softy or anything..but its easy'er than trying to get all that gear on a Firebolt ;) I could come on the GS coz our lass wants to come, but NO its a Buell doo, and nothing else will do..

Stay lucky Woody.
