I've had a 2nd hand 2000 X1 which was sold 2 yrs later (one bike I regret selling :( ) and a new 2010 1125CR which I sold a year and a half later as I wasn't using it much and to be honest, loved it, but wasn't really me. Presently have 2 Indian Enfield 500's, 2001 & 2004, and a 1950 Sunbeam S8, all of which I love to bits. The 2001 Enfield just clocked up 40,000 miles the other week!.
I will have another Buell one day, hopefully an S1 which I am in love with, or perhaps another X1.
So although I haven't got one at the moment, I get by by riding everybody elses! lOl , I still love Buell, and as someone else said earlier, the people who ride Buells are typically great company and really special people. :worthy:

Hope you all had a great Christmas, and have a Happy New Year!. :yup:

March 2001 as a fatarse M2 until i got the hacksaw to it and turned it into an M1 lOl
Been mothballed of late coz of the LC fetish :oooops: and that is the difference for me,i can strip the LC down but the Buell scares the shit out of me and it's sooo heavy :?
Saying all that it's a keeper :yup:

Thrash it up to Brummigam on Thursday. She'll love you for it.

Maybe a more relevant question would be:
How many "Buell Enthusiasts" online still actually ride their Buell on a regular basis? Owning one is no great effort: they don't take up much space in the garage and nobody in their right mind will pay you any money worth having to take it off your hands lOl

I did 5,500 miles this year so far on my M2. That doesn't sound much, but I barely managed 8,000 motorised miles in total this year - I am even more hooked on non-motorised bikes these days.

I use mine daily to commute, have to admit, I mostly take the CR as it's easier for commuting and it's the easiest one to get out of the garage ... :oooops:

My love affair for bikes is nearly over.

Love affair ?!?!... :? Bikes are a way of life... you can fall in or out of love with them temporarily, but if there in you, there's no escape :D
