Its been a great day yet again and so good to see old and new faces. Steve (Mirman) it was lovely to catch up with you again and if you're visiting up north again let us know. The highlight of my day was having mojo bury his face in my cleavage.................. TWICE :hehe:

We had a good ride up, Daywalker and I met up with mojomick and onanist at Chip(penham) for an A road ride up, stopping at Kemble in search of the Gulf War vet Buccaneer that seems to have been taken in doors.

We did find a Folland Gnat done up in Red Arrows colours so did a Buell pic in front of that:

viewtopic.php?p=179442#p179442

On the way, my rucksack opened and spat my inclement weather gloves out, luckily Mick and Kev picked them up for me.

The Grenade went onto reserve twice, once up the hill on the A420 towards the A46 junction, then at the M4 interchange on the M5, which was interesting as I had cold chubalub fingers with the inclement weather gloves...

Oh yeah, I had to replace my battery before I left home, had a rear brake that would not function for the first hour and my speedo packed up on the way back on the M5.

A real Buell adventure... :D

Glad that I made the run up from Bedford albeit on 4 wheels. Nice chatting to the few that I managed to corner...ha bad luck people! You are a friendly bunch that obviously get on well together. Hope to meet more of you on the next event or ride out.

Thanks for making a newbie feel welcome.

Steve

Pash - you need an XB, you do, our Ulysses just creamed it today, through heavy downpours and everything.

What a cracking way to end 2011 - one of best 'Cabin Fever' meets ever, with approx. 30 people and 9 Buells. We'd like to thank everyone who helped to make it such a great day.

It was good to meet some new members - I hope we made you feel welcome. You meet the nicest (and strangest) people on a Buell....

I used the M40 until the A429, then headed back the way we came up.
To be honest, I got soaked and the wind was trying to push my wheels from underneath me, I thought I had two flat tyres at one point.
It got dark around Warminster and it was a bit of a slog home after that.
Just about thawed out now.
My S1 ran perfectly, just a shame that I spent six hours polishing it yesterday.
I really enjoyed the ride up, 140 miles without touching a motorway. Thanks to the Brizzle/ Southwest posse for sharing the fun. 8-)

Thanks to CJ and JJ for getting everyone together and thanks Tigs, for the mammaries. ;)

Happy New Year everyone.

We were on 4 wheels but had some of the worst weather thrown at us. Left the NMM at around 4.00pm (ish) and I am so glad we weren't on our bikes as it was just awful...... Hats off to all you who rode to the NMM. REALLY heavy downpour from before Banbury to Didcot. Weather eased once we passed the Andover turning...

Great meet up and met some newbies, plus the lovely regulars.....
Hi Claire (Tigs), must remember to wear my high heels next time.....you made me feel like a 6 year old.....was boob height...lol, ;) Mojomick took full advantage though .....lol

It was lovely to see everyone there today, 3 years ago i attempted to come to this event but the old Buell only got me to Warwick services before giving in.

This time fate worked in our favour, son moved to the midlands just a few months ago and we were visiting for a few days, and extended the stay by a day so we could head back south where the air is thicker via the museum and attend this event.
So glad we did.

Here are a few snaps from today:

Mojo, they kindly changed the name of the museum for me to take the pic of your bike :D I thought it was only fitting to do so :yup:

A few of the Buells lined up:

I even got Albert to crack a smile, nice one Albert :yup:

Is it just me or was that fountain outside the window just a little bit rude?

And the newly named museum just for Mick aka "MOJO"

Sorry i did not get everyone but I believe some more embarrassing shots will follow from others, you know who you are :D :D :D

There was certainly some crappy weather around yesterday, you were very lucky if you missed it. On the way back home we rode through an almighty downpour south of Sheffield which lasted for at least 5 miles. We like a (Buell) challenge, but not that much of a challenge, thank you very much :D....
