You could use a cheap satnav with one of these. the nice thing about this bag is that its generic so if you change satnav, you dont have to buy the mount kit all over again.....

Hmmm... I bought one of these a couple of weeks ago, -Waterproof it ain't. Mine was on the bike with the extra neoprene rain cover (that is not mentioned on the web site) parked outside work so not even moving when it rained. There was water inside the main case, and between the case and the cover. Not impressed.

Good job I tested it on the bike before putting my Snooper Strabo in it. I've just lined the whole damn thing with silicone and am waiting to test it on the next downpour. One other thing is that the water resistant port for headphones etc is next to useless as its too small to push most headphone plugs through. and forget it when it comes to the power supply plug that came with your sat-nav....
I should have sent it back but could not be arsed to deal with French returns. The idea is sound, but the construction is lacking. Waterproof zips are used, but the stitching is not then sealed.... None of the stitching is taped at all.

Si. :headbang:

Pelican cases are very waterproof. I've got one I have thrown into many different types of water! A bit pricey but cheaper than replacing whatever you keep in it, if you can find one the right size.

Givi are doing a sat nav bag too that claims to be waterproof. Beginning to wish I'd gone for that first, but they are hard to get hold of apparently.

Si.

Glad to be of Help Plumpton. That's why this forum is cool!
