Thanks for the suggestion, Steve - it's one of the most impressive memorials in the area and well worth a visit:

I'm not the one making the decision but, IMO, if you have to ask, the answer is no. My Fazer has a Buell shock sock but that doesn't make it a product of East Troy.

Only kidding. :) I'll park mine with all the other tassle tractors. That reminds me - I must pop into Black Bear to buy some more conchos before the weekend.

Pick them up on Saturday morning  We're meeting at the shop at 9.00 am to leave at 9.30 am. You could bring GB along as well, just don't let him turn up in his H*nda

Steve

I'll be heading straight there, Steve - with Mo and GB (hopefully not in a Honda), rather than first riding 50 miles in the wrong direction.

Though the thought of coffee and doughnuts for breakfast is appealing... mmmmmmm... doughnuts. :D

See you there,
Myles

Quick reminder of the East Yorks / North Lincs arrangements, as my post is now languishing on page 7, and Woody couldn't find it .... ;)

We'll be leaving Humber Bridge Passport Control at 8am, breakfasting at Little Thief Elsham/Barnetby junction, and leaving there at 9:30 - how's that?

Sadly, Boy Wonder won't be with us this year - would anyone else intending to meet us at the North End of the Bridge let me know, so we know who (if anyone) we're waiting for?

The DSC Yorkshire crowd are late risers, so they'll not be riding with us, but they'll be meeting at Squires at 09:30 and leaving there at 10am, in case anyone wants a mafioso escort on the run over the wolds from the Bridge.
