Still got the XB12XT and still loving it

Buell X1.

I bought it ten years ago this year. One of my very first trips was to East Kirkby for the Buell day. I remember it rained heavily all the way. And I was very wet and uncomfortable after my 40 mile ride from Grantham.
Felt a bit sorry for myself until I chatted to a young girl with bright red hair who had ridden all the way from Ipswich on a very nice M2.

Ill never sell it you know.

XB12Ss,had twentysome bikes and nothing else comes close

ive owned my m2 for 12 years now! ive had other bikes but the damn yellow one is still there all tucked up!

then there is the "special" half x1 half xb. (not cut and shut its been 5 years and still not running, but sooo close now

I must confess i've not visited this site for ages after selling my '02 X1 White Lightning several years ago (and now regretting it).

It's photo still hangs on the bedroom wall to this day !

So after visiting ebay recently and seeing a couple of nice looking X1's for sale has wetted my appetite again, sadly i'm not in a position to purchase yet. But is the reason i'm here and to this particular thread.

Perhaps my old bike might be known here ?
