Advice/Help please - Sold my CR to a nice guy from France last October which has since blown it's stator :cry: (no surprise there!!), he took it to a Harley dealer in France who are willing to repair it under guarantee however, Harley themselves are asking that the parts are requesetd by the supplying dealer which unfortunately happen to be the sadly defunct Manchester Harley, does anyone know who he should contact instead or what else he should do :?:

Warranty is worldwide and any dealer can do the work and order the parts. Seems like the dealer isn't being as helpful as they could be. Suggest he contacts H-D France Customer Services. We would happily do the job for him but obviously we are far from local. H-D UK are generally recommending dealers to get the original stator rewound but we have come across a couple of rewound ones which have since failed again.

Only a couple of Zane ones, a ghost 668 and a 750s.
