 Post subject: 1125 TPS %

Hi all, what should the % reading be when I turn the ignition on in Diag mode? Mine is currently showing 2% ? :?

If somebody could remind me how to get into diagnostic mode then I will go and check mine ... :oooops:

is that done like this? twist the throttle 3 times - keep the throttle fully open for one second and fully closed for one second

I'll give it a go and see what happens!

hold both buttons on the cluster down and turn ignition on! :yup:

My wrist has one of those, it shuts off the fuel after about 10mm of twist :D :oooops:

ok, so I took the bike in to be scanned as I couldn't get the TPS to read zero. they did a TPS reset but as soon as I got home and checked it I got a reading of 2% again?! I have also noticed that I've lost the engine braking as it's fueling with the throttle closed? anyone got any ideas?

Is it 2.0% or 2 volts ?

AFAIK IAC position is mirrored in TP (for fuel metering), so it will never be zero.
As I understand it. I don't have such newfangled kinckknack, so I might be wrong.
