Is being shown live today on Motors TV - sky channel 413.

If I've got my facts right then the EBR 1190RS should be racing in this.

Just thought there may be some interest ...

I turned it on by accident and saw some buells and a ducati aswell as loads of yamahas. Was a few laps until I relised there was a truimph as well. Then the penny dropped the Buells (1190cc ) is racing the Ducati (848) and the rest are 600s. What kind of home advantage is that 340cc over the equivalent engine and almost double the others. Oh wait rememeber the Norton rotarys 688cc or 1200cc?

Won't spoil it if anyone has it recorded.

That very question has been posted on BadWeb many times, and they all get very animated and come up with all kinds of excuses for their twins being at a disadvantage to smaller IL4 bikes. I wonder what would happen if Ducati fielded their Panigale :?: lOl lOl

Just didn't want to let on the result but the 1190s got their asses handed to them. The Truimph did OK. Strange lack of Hondas though. Very boring racing the banking and long straight do not make the racing very exciting.

I'm sure he would  .......but I'd bet he'd be even more of a disappointment in a kind of 1190 versus 600 sort of way lOl

We are in Florida for a family holiday so popped up to Daytona for the 200.
What a great event. Friendly, reaxed atmosphere and access to all area's.
The 200 was 'Awesome' with some great sounds. To be honest the Buell entrys seemed pretty low budget compared to some teams but were good to see and hear. Seemed pretty reliable as well .......

The 1190s were in the two superbike races not the daytona 200 which is for the less powerfull bikes. The big boys run two 15 lap races as tyre wear is considored a problem.Buell did ok in these with Geoff May 6th inthe first and Danny Eslick 9th in the second on a track where top speed is more important.
