We're thinking of delaying our departure til early Sat morning now. Those of you going to the Bull Hotel tomorrow please don't worry if we don't show. We'll call them to confirm but I didn't want to leave this post til tomorrow in case I miss you.
Ride safe - stay dry :sun:

Recognising your :sp: reference, Diggsy, if the above is anything to go by, I think that it will be more along the lines of "Martin, get them off your head and either sort the bus or let me use them to float gently back to terra firma."

Remember, chaps, it was OF who first posted "any landing you walk away from is a good landing". (I so hope that I don't come to regret posting that)

...and if the aircraft is reuseable then it is an outstanding one.....

Oh and V, I did find some spare underwear in the aeroplane today....but I'm not sure whose it was...... previous owner a slim girl I suspect and I'm not sure that it would be much good as a parachute....although IIRC she wa quite adept at a jump or two.....

edited to avoid the speeling polis.......

Hi Roz - thanks for posting your message :4roz:...

Having just seen the TV forecast for Friday I can understand why you'd want to delay setting off.

We plan to set off for East Kirkby/Horncastle around noon tomorrow - hopefully we'll miss the worst of the heavy rain.

On the plus side, Saturday doesn't too bad :yup:....

BTW - this is a Cessna 208, similar to the one which Martin and the gang are using on Saturday:

Probably not :( ........wanted to go on my S1W but she hasn't been OTR since 05 (donated brakes to the race effort) and I only got around to completely rebuilding her Nov. last year, other than the 2 mile round trip for an MOT, she hasn't been out since.
Done the last 2 years on 4 wheels for various reasons and no way am I doing that again  S1W doesn't do rain and would need a proper shake down run before EK anyway.
X1 aint taxed or MOT'd and the M2 desperately needs a service and I'm REALLY busy :headbang:
So, unless tomorrows customer cancels and something resembling summer weather makes a sudden appearance.......I wont be there :ffs:

Emma's Do wouldn't be the same without a bit of Maz baiting :o Thought this year was supposed to be about a bit of "me time" out on your bikes :?: Ride the M2 without bothering with a service, it will be alright and you can do it when you get back.

Any more takers (even Triumph/Kawasaki/Aprilia riders are welcome  ) for the ride from Black Bear :?: Meet at 9.00 am to leave at 9.30 am. Save some space for doughnuts and no, Norm, we don't offer a delivery service

Steve

Please explain that to my punters Steve.....was desperately hoping this so called 'recession' and dumping the mail order thing would free up some 'me time' this year......I'm currently taking bookings for the last week in September based on a 7 day week

Might chance the M2, even though it's only done 82 miles in the last 12 months (by customers)....if I can remember how to ride a motorcycle :?
