We've completed the first stage of preparations for the Buell S1 Lightning 'JogLe' Challenge - after two years :oooops: on Sorn our S1's back on the road. It was MOT'd and taxed yesterday.

I've completed 300 miles this weekend - no parts fell off the bike and I can still walk, so far, so good :D.....

The P38 flies again and, thankfully, is still bubble free....

Hi Roz :4roz: - how's things with you?

Image

--------------------------------------------------------------------
2012 Buell S1 Lightning 'JogLe' Challenge - we've booked all our accommodation for the trip so here's our itinerary:

Thursday 17th May
Home to Berwick-upon-Tweed = 174 miles (evening)
Accommodation = Youth Hostel, Berwick-upon-Tweed. £42.00.

Friday 18th May
Berwick-upon-Tweed to John O'Groats = 336 miles.
Accommodation = Guest House, John O'Groats. £60.00 includes breakfast.

Saturday 19th May
John O'Groats to Preston = 460 miles.
Accommodation = Travelodge, Preston Chorley. £35.75.
We used this motel during the 2009 Buell Challenge.

Sunday 20th May (Our S1's 15th Birthday :P)
Preston to Land's End = 382 miles.
Accommodation = Youth Hostel, Land's End. £48.90 includes breakfast.

Monday 21st May
Land's End to Home = 393 miles.

Note: we may not go directly home after completing 'JogLe'- we'll be on holiday until the 5th June.

Using AA Route Planner the total distance works out at 1745 miles. This is only a guide, we have the option to choose an even more scenic and twisty route depending on time, weather and road conditions.

There's plenty of daylight at that time in May so we intend to make early starts on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, and ride until mid to late evening.

We appreciate that some people might want to meet up with us during the ride but it will be hard to say exactly where we'll be along the route at any given time.

Prices shown are for a double/twin room.

If anyone wants details of where we're staying and how to book please send me a PM.

Hi CJ, all is fine thank you. I'd love to be able to do this again, sadly Goldy has sold his Uly ;)

And thank you for the pic, I don't think I have one of me and the Scg - you wouldn't happen to have one of Kev in his pervy underwear would you? :D xxx
