It's a shame your selling Ash but if your not enjoying it whats the point in keeping it.
Be happy to say that you own/owned one of the best looking bikes about.

Good luck with the sale.

That is your USP, it's not common. Is it worth more than an original bike? Find a mint S1 in original condition and it's worth more than a modded one.
Should have kept the STT in hindsight.

Nah, I'm pleased to have had the chance to own this one, regret isn't something I usually feel :)

As for an original S1, They has their share of recalls if I remember rightly. Either way, thanks for the interest :)

Sorry it doesn't suit you Ash, hope you find something equally exhilarating...

Good luck with the sale BTW

Whats the difference between the S1 and the M1 if you put two fully updated bikes together which is the most desirable, because i was led to believe that the S1 was more in demand. Personally i love the look of this M1 of Ash's any other time and i would have most definitely have put a bid in for it. Hope it stays around to see it in the flesh.

S1 by a country mile, M2 was the ugly duckling. This M1 looks a treat though.

Any bike is worth what the buyer is willing to pay for it.

It's not a mainstream bike or in mainstream condition, so normal mainstream valuations don't apply.
Yes you could buy a similar aged Blandit 1200 for over £4k less but that's irrelevant.

It's not my cup of tea but good luck with the sale Ash.

OK, thank all for the helpful insights and debating, now ... can you all nob off and spam elsewhere so I can get on and try to sell it to someone who will give it the home it deserves!

Like I said, I am open to offers ... I really want to get back on a motorcycle I can enjoy

Thanks for your interest.

Cooter, I dont think you understand what's being offered here......I get what you're saying about 2nd hand 'streetfighter' values and also realise the validity of the ''you can polish a 50p piece all day long but it's still only worth 50p '' etc......

Ash's M1 is a 50p piece that's been melted down and remoulded into what is essentially a brand new motorcycle.
It has been completely hand built from the tyres up ie. all the compromises the factory had to make in order to keep the original price realistic have been replaced with the best quality items money can buy, all the known weak points of these bikes have been addressed with upgraded parts/modifications.......the only custom element to the bike is the S1 style seat unit.

Where else can you buy a brand new, hand built motorcycle with top notch components for less than 5K ?

When a Buell comes up for sale this forum debates it's worth, regardless of where it's advertised. Why should this sale be any different?

If Yoffie was still with us he'd be riding this home by now 8-)

I truly hope this wonderful piece of Buell/Maz mechanica is bought by someone who fully appreciates its beauty and artisan quality. It would be nice if it stayed in the family too.....and IMHO it's a bargain.
