I have a catch can on the X1, been on since i bought it. The pipe court the exhaust and now has a hole in it, replace or get rid of catch can altogether ? if i get rid where do i reposition the pipe. If i keep it does it need moving ( the pipe ) as someone said it's kinking down and may cause blockage! Think if it's not required then would like to bin it, just need some advise please.

Run the breathers up over the engine into a T piece and then back down the left hand side so that the end of the pipe is near the exhaust outlet and let the exhaust blow the crap away from the bike ;)

You'd be better getting two seperate breather fittings instead of that link pipe that joins the heads , then take the individual pipes up under tha tank to a y piece ;)

What is wrong with the link pipe Kev?

Personally I would use allen bolts to hold the bracket on and fit XB rocker covers.

XB rocker covers are definitely the best solution as per muffins set up .............I just think those link pipes don't really have enough height and volume in them .
What is the cost of a pair of xb covers nowadays?
