im about to start rebuilding my '00m2 forks and just wanted to ask a few questions.

is there a kit or what should i replace?
should i modifi anything?
any hints or tips?

are they the same as the 98 forks?as i've just rebuilt mine,if so i can tell you what Maz told me if it helps

ah, not sure on that retro but at a guess i would think so?

yeah muzza done about 350 miles on it,not problems except i don't seem to have access to the reserve fuel,maybe blockage in the fuel tap.luckily only had to push it 100 meters home :ill: I'm really pleased with it otherwise,I am adjusting the suspension to find a balance,as i had the front too hard from the fork rebuild and it was unsettling the rear,so after some adjustments it seems better. the pain is that when Winter arrives it's a strip down for some frame tidying and powder coating ,as for your forks,I got a full overhaul kit from Maz,but depends what you want to sort,i'll pm you with my no ,we can chat about it or Maz can advise if you prefer
