There must be something wrong with my '06 Ulysses, I regularly get 60 mpg from mine, on mostly what you call B roads in the UK, but not trying to be frugal. It's bog standard, original exhaust n all.

being as your talking about fuel my wife has a 2010 xb9sx is it best to run it on unleaded or super unleded, it is one of the last ones made has two oxygen sensors

My 07 XB12s which Ive done 20k miles on has given worst of 124 miles to fuel light and best of 158miles . Usually about 140 before light, at this it takes a bit less than 10 litres to fill,using 91 unleaded in NZ. It works out at about 60 mpg, which I feel is pretty good for a 1200 cc motor and aerodynamics like a barn door.

Got 220 one time on 99m2....miki and V/H etc

Filled it from empty last week £28

That is nothing, I have done 65k on my M2 and still waiting for the fuel light to come on

I usually get around 50 mpg; it will happily do 60 mpg too but the gain of 10 mpg is not worth the loss in fun.
