 Post subject: Frame sliders

Current ride: X1 Lightning
Location: Robin Hoods Tree.
Thinking of buying some frame sliders for the X1. Last year it stalled and fell over damaging my k&n, so thought a little protection may help!

Can see your point, slide it down the road at speed and there's going to be a fair bit of damage anyway! just wanted to safeguard some of finer things like the Albert, K&N from damage on low impact falls. Thanks for the advise though and by the way never wanted to suck an egg in my life! lOl

I was tempted to put some 'under the fairing' sliders on my 1198 Duc, but was warned away from them since they tend to write the frame off. My mate who races one tells me they can cause the bike to high side in a slide and come chasing after you :shock:

This fella wasn't too amused when I shouted, 'That'll polish out' lOl
