Chances of making this one are slim to none as family stuff to do. Hope the rain stays away.

Nick - I hate to be indecisive but we may (or may not :?) be able to make this years Italian Auto Festival in Bristol: http://www.biamf.co.uk

We'd have to do the trip all in one day, setting off early and returning in the evening, but at least the weather forecast isn't too bad for tomorrow.

According to AA route planner it's approx. 200 miles and 3.5 hours to Bristol using motorways but I'm sure we could be a bit quicker than that, even at our modest pace :ill: :D ......

Any road up, if we do decide to travel down we're going to try and make this: If you wish to participate in the mass [Italian motorcycle] ride-in you will need to arrive at the M5 J19 Gordano Services from 8.30 for a 9.30 departure.

We'll text you if we make it Bristol - or we may bump into you around the Moto Guzzi parking area.

Maybe I should do the mass ride in too on the Grenade (I will get some white insulation tape out to make the letters on the tank say Buellio)...

Went down there to meet my dad and his friends, his Guzzi Falcone was on the Moto Guzzi Owners Club stand.

Bumped into deepsix later and dragged him for lunch with my dad and his mate.

Bit of a grey day so was not inspired to take any pictures.

Yep, 55mph on the M5  ...

Was going to join the ride in from Gordano, but couldn't get out of bed...

:hehe:

Sorry we didn't make it, after watching Friday nights forecast we just didn't fancy 400+ miles on windswept/wet motorways :(....

While we're talking Italian, we have registered for this event on Sunday 2nd September, Honnington Italian Car & Bike Day, and have accommodation booked nearby on the Saturday night.
