Organised by the Skellingthorpe and District Motorcycle Club, this event raises funds for the Lincolnshire & Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance.

This year Jane and I will be able to take part in this event which is being staged at the Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre, East Kirkby - where we hold UKBEG's 'Em's Day' every July.

Whilst the run is open to all motorcycles/sidecars it is very much a classic event with awards for Pre 46, Pre 61, Pre 86 British/Euro and Pre 86 Japanese.

Signing on is from 8.30 am and the run starts at 10.30 am. After approx. 40 miles there is a stop at The Green Man, Scamblesby before returning to the Aviation Centre.

Full details and an entry form can be downloaded here
Note: scroll down the page for the entry form download button.

Nice one CJ :yup: done his event for several years now..it used to be run from Mortons in Horncastle but it got to big...too many new bikes turning up...I see you there, already sent off the entry form....but still not sure if we'll run the Cazenave, just in the final stages of resoration....I'll see if it runs ok because Mrs Woody will have to ride it !!

Stay lucky Woody..

Reminder that this event takes place on Saturday.

We've registered for the event - signing on starts at 8.30am. The Wolds Run departs the Aviation Centre at 10.30am, returning in time for the Lancaster bomber taxi-run at 3.00pm.

There's also a Lancaster taxi-run at 1.00pm.

Paul - as far as I know you can just turn up on the day.

If you've pre-registered it speeds up your entry to the Aviation Centre and means you don't have to fill in an entry/donation* form when you arrive.

* The event raises funds for the Lincs and Notts Air Ambulance Service.

No you can just turn up on the day...I know this for sure, because to-day I had to ring the organisers to ask if this was possible........why........well Mrs woody was given the task of posting off my mates entry, because he works off shore, this was done on the 18th April....and to-day what do I find in (her)car foot well :oooops: .....yes his entry form still waiting to be posted......it must have fallen out of my bag was the answer :o ........so just turn up Smarty..
