Not wanting to jump on the band wagon but......I had a VFR 750 with a gibson race pipe made of sheet....cracking zorst beautifully made :yup:

just youtubed hydroforming , they must use a far bit of pressure and got to get the maths right for the developed lengths ect

I think Micron used hydroforming for those 'cobra head' downpipes they used to sell :?

Also you have to tap the welds constantly to allow it to expand in the smaller diameter areas...
