I have had my xb 12 scg for about 4 weeks now i have just had the odd run out not far but today went for a longer spell and it seems to be spluttering at around the low 2000s is this normal as im not too sure took if for a blast on the a10 and seems fine sitting at 60-70 .

Which bike? DDFI-2 or DDFI-3?

For my XB12/2004 I reduced spark advance just above idle speed at low load:

and also moved the deceleration region to higher rpm

The last step was to adjust warmup enrichment until the bike was running fine with a cold engine too
