Couple more questions...
If I buy a standard ulysees, will my 29" inside leg prohibit me from riding it home till I get at least a lower seat, meaning it would need to be delivered?
Also reading the bomber thread and trying to achieve my need for a low 12 at lowest cost, will the standard xb front mudguard fit the ulysees forks?
No doubt more questions to come soon.....

I'm about the same leg length and managed to ride a Uly on a demo.

But you really need to sit on one and decide for yourself.

Not had any dealings with Ulys but I suppose if you needed to you could take the seat off to ride it home ? Just tape a bit of foam in its place to give you some comfort and protection from what is underneath !

Or if it's not too far perhaps the seller would ride it home for you ...

I have a similar inside leg length and with the later (07-) seat I have no problems in the 5000 miles I have done on my Uly...

Birdy,

Forgot where I'd got the details from but then I rembered Ant69 gave them to me. The company is called Revs Suspension in Halesowen and they did his Ully for him. Probably worth sending Ant69 a pm.

You'll get home ok - it'll be odd, but do-able

(Also from 07 onwards they had the lower seat as standard)

And yes, you can put a standard XB mudguard on it - it's what I've done :yup:

If you do go down the 'Bomber-ising' route, I'll be more than happy to guide you though it all.

(that said, I should do a full write up anyway really...)
