they have bigger exhaust manifold (headers)
a more tunable FI if i remember right too

08 have a stronger crank, a few crank failures on 06 07 in the US

might consider any late xb12

forum member jonnyingram had an 09 XB12XT, sounds the bussiness and a fair price to, he was to far away from me to make it worth while so I bought an 08 XB12XT local. He hadn't got it advertised but you could PM him and see if its still available.
