Hello, I am new on this forum and I have a question about a fuel-tank that I have seen in a picture (see attached).

Is there anyone who knows what kind of tank the bike on the picture carries. Is it a Buell original or what? I would like to have one like that instead of mine S1 Lightning 1998 original.

Is there any other fuel-tanks that can be used on my Buell -98

Thank you,

I don't think so .....if it was i think you'd see the raised filler neck portion.

Looks like the breather from a standard filler.

Is it just a standard tank with a rounded tank pad attached at the rear? ...... the front looks very standard.

A picture is worth a thousand words.

Image

A blind man on a galloping horse can see the tank in the first picture is miles shorter. get too specsavers.

I'm with Spondon on this. If I had to guess I'd say it may be an X1 tank with a moulded fibreglass cover.

there is a pretty large gap behind the headstock to the tank, not sure if that is because the headstock angle has been altered  (don't thinkso) and I think its higher than stock too, sure its been made.
Think I really like it, bit too modern as I seem to be feeling more old school by the day but it is a job well done.
Bet its German.

4/10, :( , surely worth more than that.
