Had a desire for something different a few yrs ago, so bought an x1 white lightning.Thought it was great, but soon after saw a very nice ducati monster s4rs, which for those not familiar with the bike is the best, most powerful moster made, and very sought after. Lack of funds meant x1 had to be traded in.However, just aquired another x1.Bloody love it.After 1 week, regulator packed in ..This took place some miles from home ,so i attempted to get home.Riding down m6 all instuments, lights, and indicators failed, but bike kept going. Eventually bike ground to a halt, and breakdown service called A new one fitted, with some alteration to connectors, and charging is ok,but now runs like a bag of hammers.Starting is good, as is tickover, but misfire on accelleration, surging in power, and popping and banging. However it seems to run better after a few miles.I will fit new plugs, as it appears to be running too rich, and see what happens, before further investigation.Any ides welcome.Especially cheap ones lol
