I took it up with them (as you might expect) during one of our many visits there .... the owner stands by the assertion that it is an optional spelling in that context.

I stand by the assertion that he is sadly mistaken. lOl

The weather forecast for Em's Day 2012 is looking promising :P...it's been a few years since we've had such a two-wheel friendly forecast leading up to this event.

Just a quick reminder that we ask you to have the exact admission money available when you arrive - it helps us on the gate and speeds up your entry to the event. If you're arriving in a group please nominate one person to collect your money before you arrive.

Admission charges:

In memory of Emma, all females on bikes (either as riders or pillions) get in free.

Adults £7.00 - £2.00 of which goes to Em's Charity.
Senior Citizens - £6.00
Children (6- 15 yrs) - £3.00
Under 5's - free

And I was already not going to be able to make it because I have to cover other people who will be off site so it leaves us a bit short handed for leading a ride up to East Kirkby from Black Bear.

We have traditionally done this every year for ever and have promoted it both on the forum and by e-mail to our customers so would rather not have to cancel it. Any volunteers who would be prepared to lead the way :?:

Meet at Black Bear at 0900, stuff yourself with doughnuts and coffee then set off at 0930.

Any takers :?:

Steve

This is indeed sad news Steve, and Jon not able to go either :(
Not had any takers? Is anyone at all going from Black Bear?

Thats a real shame Steve, I would offer my services but imagine a GS leading a Buell ride out would be frowned upon by the locals
