We have traditionally done this every year for ever and have promoted it both on the forum and by e-mail to our customers so would rather not have to cancel it. Any volunteers who would be prepared to lead the way :?:

Meet at Black Bear at 0900, stuff yourself with doughnuts and coffee then set off at 0930.

Any takers :?:

Steve

Thats a real shame Steve, I would offer my services but imagine a GS leading a Buell ride out would be frowned upon by the locals

You'll have to do it mate ....sounds like Darkhorse needs an escort ;)

Dark Horse would be my preference because she's a better rider and more reliable in a crisis but no-one would have any objection to a BMW leading the way ;)

Can I count on either of you as a willing volunteer then?

Steve

Being the gentleman that you are, Steve, I'm surprised to hear you openly rating who is the better ride.

And a good thought at that lOl We even allow Nazi staff bikes on the forecourt. Are you up for showing a few people the way then? You could even have first pick of the doughnuts ;)

I still stand by my comments about Dark Horse though. Four years ago today she was the one helping me to try to save Yoffi's life :worthy:

You both deserve a medal for what you did that day Steve ........ quite a few that were on the scene have said what a valiant effort you both put in ....it is not something that everybody can do, at least with you on the scene he was given every chance possible :worthy: :worthy:

If anything ever happened to me it would be nice to think somebody would be able to say to my Kids "we tried " .

Steve, I remember waiting at the service station wondering where everyone had got too then Att getting that dreadful phone call from Sarah. You and Darkhorse have my utmost admiration for what you did that day :worthy: but you knew that anyway.
As for tomorrow, I was intending to help out at a UKGser offroad event in Thetfort forest, but as I fell off last week :oooops: I don't mind missing it :ill: , seriously tho if you don't have anyone to lead the ride I will, but please bear in mind the GS is on full off road tyres.
You have my mobil number Steve feel free to call me anytime.

PS I don't like do-nuts
