Glad they arrived safely ....

Silverstone will send me a map showing the location of bike club parking for 2012 and I'll post a copy in this topic in due course. The map will also show which entrance to the circuit we have to use.

I still await confirmation of track time/parade laps for bike clubs over the WSB weekend, but hope to hear something soon.

Everyone's received their tickets for the WSB weekend so that just leaves the weather to organise for the 3rd to 5th August ...

Silverstone sent me the following information - if you'd like a copy of the e-mail that has this map attached please PM me your e-mail address.



Unfortunately we have been unable to confirm Bike Parade Laps within the World Superbikes timetable due to constraints and unavailable slots.

A plan of the Bike Club areas is attached for your reference. To gain access to this area please proceed to the main gate; Gate 19, displaying your internal vehicle pass, then drive over the bridge and take the first or second left into the E-Zone. The sites are based near to the track, by the Pedestrian Tunnel (which I have left a gap for on the plan). Oakley will be situated on the raised area just in front of this. An Instructor will be in this area on the Saturday morning between 0800 – 1100 to show you your location and assist with any queries you might have.

The core trading times in the E-Zone are 9am until 6pm each day and vehicle movement is not permitted within the trade areas during these times. We ask that once parked, the bikes remain stationary in the display until you exit the site at the end of the day. Any vehicles found to be moving around the site during these times may have their vehicle passes removed.

I have just won tickets for the WSB on the 5th so will be meeting you up there. How do i go about accommodation

Shelley - as you may already know, camping @ Silverstone's Woodland site is only available to weekend ticket holders so if you don't mind roughing it in a motel/hotel may I suggest Travelodge Northampton Wootton. It's near junction 15, M1, and is 15 miles from the circuit. We're staying at this Travelodge on Friday & Saturday, 3rd & 4th.

I wont be going to this one as I will be up to this one but will be going to the BSB at the end of september. So i have my ticket up for grabs if anyone wants it. It is only for the sunday tho. Free to a good home PM me your address. The first one gets it.
