Looks as if the rear brake switch on the bike is faulty. Can I remove the switch from the top of the rear master cylinder without loosing any brake fluid please. Thanks.

Thanks Pash.
Looks like I therefore need to get the bike over to Tubs at Moorespeed to get it sorted.
Anybody got a rear brake sensors switch to sell please? Or am I on my way to the stealership :-(

A goodridge one will fit, you will need an M10x1.25 thread.

:D you can get a stainless one
:D they are cheaper than HD
:( they don't come with the correct connector
;) you can cut the old connector off with some tails and solder them to the new switch or buy a connector (I posted about aftermarket matching connectors a while back)

Changed out the banjo switch and remembered to get the two crush washers too. I now know how to bleed brakes. And my rear brake light now works.

I did all that, but the brake light still didn't work. Found out afterwards it was a dodgy connector under the seat :oooops:
