Why would you? Most members already have a Buell...

You should have bought Avalaugh's 1125 for the track. ;)

Maybe so, if you're unlucky - but at least the 1125s problems are not terminal ...

... hopefully !

At the risk of being considered thick i have to ask why that bike isn't thought to be worth 2.5k by fellow enthusiasts? Surely its worth as much as a plastic crotch rocket of the same year and has far more charisma and lasting appeal that won't go out of date when the next fad for upside down doo-hickeys and variable whatsits comes into fashion. Or have i turned into an even more miserable version of me dad? :coat:

The bike is worth what anyone will pay for it.

IMO, you have five things against you on this forum:

1. Most people here already have a Buell so any value they put on by those not wishing to buy it is superficial
2. It is not the most sought after colour
3. It is not a 2001 model - which we are told is the only x1 year worth buying due to; high contact ratio cam gears, updated primary chain adjuster, later gear shifter, later shifter detent etc.
4. It does not have all the mods we are told it 'must have' before one can have the real 'tuber experience' - EBC Prolite disc, AST, Forcewinder etc. and hence 'one must spend a lot of money on it'
5. The seat is yellow

If you want to sell it, put it on eBay with no reserve and a starting price of 99p. It will sell for the current market value.

Incidently, I had PMs from two disappointed people (and there are probably more) that had PMed you wishing to buy yet had had no response. Surely they deserve a reply...

Oh! I thought this was an enthusiast forum. I must be thick.

I spent lots of time in this section when I was looking to buy.

As for the colour, well as I've said before, it's an emotive subject.

The seat could be re-covered.

You could spend a grand more, and still have to spend the same amount on it as this one.
Fair money I think, assuming no major problems of course.

Maybe if I need an oppinnion on the colour of my bike, or how shit folks think it looks, or if I want to break it for parts, I could put it on here.
Anyway, everyone knows orange bikes are faster. lOl
