IIRC the indicators are controlled by the ECM ...

... although it may be the IC ? :?

Is it worth trying to swap the indicators over, front to back ( plug the mirrors into the rear end wiring ) to see what happens ? May suggest if it's the wiring loom at fault, possibly a chaffed wire ?

Can you not "borrow" a bulb indicator from another bike and see what happens ?

if this is the case Don, how come one worked and one didn't with the previous set of non-gen ones I fitted?!

not sure TBH John , the pair must have individually had a different resistance at a guess
or was one cross connected , as diodes are polarity concious

as Nick says , if they are controlled by electronics in the dash , standard may be best
what have other 1125 owners fitted :?:

One of the rears was replaced under warrenty 2 years ago. They've been fine since.

so I've fixed it, the problem (which is no big surprise) was that the bullet connectors on the new indicators I fitted were the wrong way round. I have switched them round and now have perfect flashers. 8-) :yup: :sun:
