hi all, well back to biking again after a 2yr layoff.
Embarressed to say that not on a Buell this time but a Kawasaki 750.
had a xb12x and a xb12ss last time but sadley funds have not been there for another buell.
lay off was due to heart, arm problems and with the loss of my mum in feb then her sister 2 weeks ago so not had a particular good time recently. also i was made redundant last year, but had to mortgage the house to buy the company back, business is ok but not flush with the old cash yet.
so i have decided lifes too short and after a while looking for another bike this is what i have ended up with, but my problem is that is has bloody shaky mirrors.
i had rizomas fitted to the xb12ss and this sorted that particular problem out.
However i would like some more for my 750.
hence the listing in the wanted tab.
I have stilll been an avid reader on a nightly basis for the last 2 years and love reading all the post along the way.
here is a pic of my bike.
If not appropiate for this is a Buell site i dont mind if you have to remove it i just wanted to share what i could afford for now.

This is an Enthusiasts Club, not an owners club, so you're very welcome here :yup:

That is entirely correct.
I am not enthusiastic about Buells in the slightest, I just happen to own one......And I am still welcome, albeit very occasionally ;)

Next time around, keep the Rizomas for yourself and put the stock mouse ears back on to sell it. ;)

My mate has the Z1000 and the buzzing bars is also a problem. Not least for his wrists until he had an opp. He fitted Aprilia Tuono Mirrors, which seem to work better and they look like they were made for those Zs. Another fix from the Z forum is to fill the bars with lead shot! ;)
