Hello
the CuBe gears form HD are not indestructable. They last longer than the old sintered version, but no realy long. See pictures opr22000km...
Fitment on the shaft is very loose: usually 0,12 mm

Our gears show no wear after 50.000 km (picture ...322) just the contact area is shiney like it should be. Clearance on the shaft is 0,03 mm.
Price is 75,- Euro incl. 19% VAT
Or for reduced friction DLC coated: 90,- Euro (last picture, this is a highly modified engine with reduced clearance in the oilpump. The stock gear was worn after 3000 km. The one in the picture has more than 20.000)

Regards,
Norbert

Not my cup of tea, but the people who've bought them love them.

Yeah a mate of mine traded his XR1200 for a Victory Hammer S, its smart with a massive 250 back tyre, not my cup of tea but it seems well finished. Also the Dealership in March is top notch, they give an excellant service. :sun:

I might have to have that then for the S3 but Chester Harley are still listing them as the old price. Might try riders at the weekend as need to order some belly pan fixings for an X1 one onto an S1.

I will ask luckyhands about a group buy but that will have t wait until next week as need to get the living room sorted out before the end of next week.

Yes but like me, you've lived in Spain long enough to know that Spain just doesn't do customer service.
I love the place, but doing business with them, from buying cars or bikes, to dealing with town hall planners, well, they're just a bunch of wankers.
On the other hand I hear that the U.K dealers are great.
I think HD should get thier heads from up thier arse and stop milking heritage.
I think Victory could do to HD what the japs did to the U.K. bike industry.
Hell! Even that asshole Sonny Barger rides a Victory now!
(He just won't die will he! lOl )

Lucky Hands will give us a 10% discount if a purchase of 10 is made. 5 would be shipped now (in stock), 5 in September (new batch being made).

I am waiting for a cost of postage to the UK, once I have this I can give a price delivered to anywhere in the UK. I am thinking it should come in around £62.50 each delivered to your door.

PM me if you want one. When we get to 10 fully paid requests, I will place the order.

:headbang: ......I've just bought 3 gears from BB.....ordered them thinking they'd be 58 quid each ie. 174 quid in total, instead they cost me £318 :x
On average, I have been buying 8-12 gears every year......never again will I buy them from H-D.......yet another stock item added to the ever growing list of stuff purchased from the aftermarket......I sincerely hope the short sighted, money grabbing twats at H-D are left holding vast amounts of parts rotting on their shelves because their customers have voted with their feet.
Pash, if I ever manage to shift the 3 I now have in stock (unlikely now everyone is buying from LH) I'll be in touch :) :sad1:

Actually in general I find Spanish firms OK - NOW. Younger folk are more agile with their businesses.

The dealer in question in Madrid is frankly buggered about by a septic (yes an American) in accounts. Right C*NT. If he's a shining example of US customer Service - Gawd help them. Pick Axe Handle and Dark Alley spring to mind. They are Madrids dealer for Victory, Triumph and Guzzi. Everybody who can goes elsewhere. My Triumph came from Segovia for this very reason.

HD Madrid are a wee bit snooty - but when push came to shove - they helped me FOC with a Grey Import Softail. The not opening Saturday thing annoys me - but there are financial DIS-incentives for them doing so.

You forget I work in a town hall - I sit next to a town architect. :ner: It's simple - wanna do summat - need a licence.
