Does anyone know what size of bolt /screw you need to connect the two parts of the scoop together

I was pretty sure you just reused the three existing screws which held the blanking plate in place. That's certainly what I did when fitting the Roberto RHS scoop. I'll check the parts book on Tuesday.

I thought when I fitted mine I had to get some different bolts, not mentioned when I ordered the right scoop at the time from HD.

You use the three screws on the bike to fit the inner part of the scoop but the outer requires three smaller to attach it to the inner

You need 3 x AN1005.3FSS - Button head screw 10-32 X 5/8 long in stainless

£2 each from Black Bear (bet Steve would just throw some in the post for you as an early birthday present).

Or buy 10-32 (3/16 UNF) button headed stainless allen screws:

http://www.westfieldfasteners.co.uk/A2_ ... .1900.html

Look for 'A2 Stainless 10-32 UNF 5/8 inch Socket Head Button Screw'

99% of the fasteners on your bike are UNF/UNC ('imperial')

Dunk, I ordered a bag of them when I fitted my scoop, so I probably have enough spare that you can have for nada.

Let me check tonight. Save you a few squids.

:yup:
