Need a bit of help,
Would the gearshifter from xb1 be able to fit on a cyclone? .

X1 I take it you mean?

The up and over should fit, the 'revised' one from 2001 and newer bikes is too long.

One off an S3 will fit though...

No such thing as 'won't fit' but it isnt a direct replacement.

It wouldn't be straightforward, IIRC the M2 shifter hinges on the footpeg bracket and goes over the top. The XB shifter hinges near the clutch cable hole and links from underneath. I think the simple answer to the question would be no :?:
