I put a carbon tail tidy with LED light on my XB9s 2 weeks ago and it has been working great. The only problem was no number plate light! MOT is due in week or so, got some of them LED number plate light/bolts from Begay. Before I fitted them I tried them out by putting the wires in the old plate light connections all working fine. Today fitted them to the bike properly turned the bike on to check them out and hey presto, they didn't work FFS! neither does my indicators or rear light. Brake light works, headlight works and bike starts fine. Any ideas? I've checked the fuses and pulled the relays etc.

Yeah, just the same way as when I tested them, bit more concerned over why all of a sudden my rear light and indicators have packed too! The fuse box only shows one fuse for lights.

one thing at a time then
disconnect the no.lights then see if it clears the fault
if not you need to look at all your new/modified wiring
then see if your diode indicator units are fecked
one step at a time slowly slowly catchy monkey :yup:

Haha yeah, I tried disconnecting, the new no.plate lights and still no indicators or rear light! Indicators are still the originals reconnected, new LED tail light connected to original wiring and connectors. That's when I disconnected the noplate lights and pulled the fuses and relays and still nothing? When I tested them yesterday everything was fine:ill:

Accessory fuse blown I reckon.

Why is it that people put gay LED stuff on their bikes?

Yellow bikes are not gay, but LEDs are...

Next you will be putting purple fluorescents under the chin spoiler...

I don't know what the stigma is about gay yellow bikes, I just accepted her for what she is, a gay yellow bike but I love her all the same ;)
