Anyone know what size my forks are exactly? I measured roughly 53mm; were there any changes through the years?.... for top yoke or lsl type super bike kit.

If I'm not mistaken, then yes, 2005 and later yokes have a larger bore for the forks than earlier.

Hmm, not sure they do. We would have to look at the parts books, but I think the stanchions are 54mm diameter on all XBs (apart from the 08 Uly) but the slider grew from 41 to 43mm.

What's the plan birdy?

O yes, you are right, I think I confused the stanchion with the tube. It was 43, not 53 mm, but seemed so familiar.

Pash. Thinking bout putting s bars and yoke on my r...always was a wish, but lsl conversion pricey. Got Harley risers in the garage...but bit apprehensive about drilling the r yoke as theres no going back then.
Just thinking of options for the winter layup :?

Ok, bought xb top yoke off eBay, but it has the ignition barrel slot as per my firebolt, so i do no need to reposition that as I feared.
Would it be off a Uly then as the XBS ignition is to the side?

It sounds like it's probably another firebolt yolk.

Not a bolt yolk; hasn't got the separate holes for each bar..
Uly got the ignition barrel on the yolk like the bolt?

So that looks like a Lightning (or Uly - but I would have to check the stanchion diameter)) which someone has put a piece of bent plate on to take an ignition switch.

What is it you need if it is not that?
