Another cracking motorcycling weekend, that's 4 cracking motorcycling weekends in a row :P.....

Thanks to Spen and Sue for their hospitality at Snetterton yesterday and congratulations to Brock who won the championship on Saturday and for winning 3 races over the weekend.

Saturday's East Kirkby RAFBF Airshow was simply the best, lots of classic aircraft on display and flying in perfect weather...

This stunning 1272cc Egli Vincent, ridden by Roy Robertson, was easily the best looking bike at Snetterton...

The Fressingfield Oily Rag Club (FORC) put on a track and paddock display. Their 'parade' laps at lunchtime were a great sounding addition to the main CRMC event...

In the last race, the bike was black flagged, it didn't particularly matter as the C'ship was already run, however it was burning a lot of oil on the right cylinder.
A strip of the engine revealed the crankshaft end nut and washer had come adrift, (yes, it was torqued up correctly), the washer had gone through the straight cut primary gears but luckily the nut hadn't followed it!! It's made a mess of the clutch basket and tore the crank seal out, hence the oil burning, but is fixable. I'm so glad the marshalls were on the ball and black flagged the bike......
