my m2 has the longer showa rear shock with the srp kit on it. is it worth tracking down a 14 inch shock upgrade kit ? is there a noticeable handling improvement with the newer shock or should i just save up and go aftermarket ? what is the best after market shock in peoples experience? i`m full of questions today :?

I have and others will tell you the same thing, it's the best thing you can bolt to your bike...in short a revelation :yup: :yup:

Ronnie will tell you what you need :yup: Buells handle well despite the dreadful rear shocks they have fitted, the AST will transform your bike :yup:

I've been playing with some pretty high end Ohlins + Ktec stuff recently, you have to wind the adjusters a fair way before you can tell a difference; and they needed a lot of time and effort to rid them of a lot of stiction (and they're still not right  ). The AST is superior in all respects 8-)
