 Post subject: bugger ! missing teeth

Location: western australia
replaced my rear wheel bearings this morning before it got too hot (it hit 44 today)and noticed 3 missing teeth on the belt. so if the local harley dealer is open this week and i can get a belt i`m going to be very busy this weekend :evil: :headbang:

Mine lost teeth when I did a wheelie once, it snapped later on the day when I pulled away from the traffic lights.

Luckily the Daywalker search and rescue service saved the day...

am i right in thinking the best belt is the G0500.1AAH not the 40022-91 :?: i may have to go with whats available to get back on the road but if the choice is available itwould be good to go with the better one.

thanks maz, postage from the uk would be a killer tho. tried my local hd dealer, none in stock so it would have to come from melbourne and take up to two weeks. quicker and easier to go direct to america. supose its what you get from living in the worlds most remote state capital but anything below $1000 we dont pay import duty on :)

all good, found a new one on ebay in america. got new iso`s, secondhand pulleys and a new gearbox pulley seal as well.
