They've been shipping to the UK again for a while now ....................let us know the total cost of that after postage import and customs duty has been added ............. sometimes the item doesn't end up much if any cheaper ;) .......hope you're lucky with it .

:yt:

It used to be worthwhile with Chicago and LSHD where they would give an instant 20% discount. Not sure St Paul do that, no harm in asking.

No harm in asking if CHD or LSHD will ship to the UK.

I just bought a brand new wheel from St Pauls, list price $336 sold for $100 with postage and import duty it probably ended up at about £100 which still isn't too shabby for a brand new White S1/X1 wheel including bearings. Part number is G0110 GAY J which must refer to the colour of the bike I guess :D
It seems daft not to collect bits for the older ones when they come up.

Postage is often the big killer from the states now ...............and they sometimes include the postage cost when they add the import duty and VAT at this end.

As an example i nearly bought a new seat from them but the seat is £62 ....the postage is nearly £42
Add on the VAT + import duty + the parcel firms charge which is often another £12 -£15 and that £62 seat suddenly becomes more like £150

The wheel they have listed now is £124 + £54 postage

Peewee is in Australia, so the postage and duty may well vary ...

thats worth knowing,thanks for that.

we dont pay import duty on anything below $1000 here ( about 600 quid ) and the postage from the US is usually cheaper .

belt arrived friday (from st pauls through ebay) isos and gearbox pulley seal havn`t arrived yet so i`ll do them later. set the belt tension to the tightest point in the suspension travel while the bike was hanging from the floor crane, a lot looser than the factory setting .
second roundabout on the test ride and the footpegs are hitting the ground far too easy so time for some rearsets i think :D :D :D :D
