Hi I said Harley/buell specialist and you obviously haven't bothered going to link I posted for his website, where it clearly says,

Maulden Motorcycle Repair build race motorcycles for Flat Track racing. We will prepare any aspect of your Flat Track race bike, from DTX based ShortTrackers to framers or ROTAX and road based ThunderBikes.

I am just trying to help someone out but giving them another person to use nearer to them :)

MT500 Rotax ;) ....................even further from an 1125 ;)

Had a long chat with Moist before either of us got to read this thread :D Thanks for your kind words, guys :yup: I'll be picking his bike up on Friday so that Jon can sort it next week.

A lot of you regulars know but although I work in Newmarket I live in North Bucks and travel to work by van. It just happens I'm at a meeting with H-D in Newbury on Friday so I'll collect on my way back.

And don't get cross with Cyclone Pete. He's only trying to support his mate's business and Steve is also a mate of mine. He's a good guy and well experienced with all Harleys and Buells although I would be surprised if he has done a Helicon 12,000 ml service.

Jon of course is a very good mate of mine who has done a few and is meticulous in everything that he does. We also charge by the job rather than the time that it actually takes him. :D

See you on Friday, Andy

Steve

I will be interested in how much BB charge for the 12,000+ mile service - I've got 2 bikes to be done soon as I'm trying to keep the mileage even on both of them - makes more sense to pick up 2 bikes if using a van ....

Sorry about the delay in replying, SportsterMann, I've been out collecting Buells lOl Standard price for a 12000 mile service on an 1125 is £710.21 but, if you're quick and book it in for this month, you can take advantage of our winter service offers. Discounted price is £568.17 and I'll happily collect and deliver both bikes free of charge because you're not too far from me either :D

Steve

Thanks for the reply Steve. 8-)

Will need to clock about an extra 1,000 miles on each bike before a service - doubt that will happen in time if this cold snap holds ...

... and my riding "lifestyle" has been curtailed of late as well ... :oooops:  :(

Hi, can anyone advise what I should be paying for an 1125CR 12000 mile service.....includes spark plugs and valve clearances.......cheers Andy 2 local dealers cannot provide menu servicing for Buells any more, has been taken off their system so they will not quote other that hourly rate!!

Really?

Tell Bradley (Oxford) to stop being gay and put it back on the system, it's not like they haven't done a 12k or 24k service before. If I still had mine, I'd have been booking it in for the 36k service in spring.
